The Agilent Capillary Puller Tool (G1964‑60345) is a specialized puller tool used to safely and precisely extract or install 40 mm capillaries (ion injectors) in Agilent LC/MS instruments—particularly models equipped with vacuum gate valves—without breaking the glass capillary.
Usage & Function
- Designed for removing and reinstalling capillary ion injectors in Agilent triple quadrupole systems (e.g., 6495, 6475, etc.) .
- Used during routine maintenance or cleaning procedures: screw into the spray chamber mount, secure capillary with collet, and gently pull out the injector
- Tool assists in maintaining system integrity by enabling safe handling of fragile glass components.
