22nd HRMS Workshop & 7th ICRAPHE Conference

This edition combines two well-established workshops into a single event.

On one side, we present the 22nd HRMS Workshop, focusing on the practical applications of high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and tandem mass spectrometric techniques for screening and quantification on of organic contaminants in environmental and food samples.

On the other side, we feature the 7th ICRAPHE Conference, dedicated to exploring the fate, risk, and removal of pharmaceutical residues in the environment.

This joint workshop provides an informal and interactive platform for scientists from academia, governmental agencies, and industry to share the latest research findings, methods, and ideas in a collaborative environment. To further encourage participation, several awards will be presented for outstanding contributions, including prizes for the best oral communication, best poster, and best student presentation, supported by sponsors and scientific partners.

We are offering the possibility to publish your work presented at this workshop at the open access journal  of Xenobiotics JoX (IF 4.4, JCR Q1) as part of the Special Issue entitled: «Emerging Contaminants as Vectors of Global Change: Ecotoxicology, Bioaccumulation and Risk».

In a similar way as in previous years, the workshop is jointly organized by IDAEA- CSIC (Barcelona, Spain), University of Almería,  Académie nationale de Pharmacie and Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia.

GENERAL RULES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts must be submitted only through the online form available at the end of this page.

Abstracts must be written using this TEMPLATE

Deadline for abstracts submission: 24th July 2026

• A4 format, maximum 1 page
• When sending the abstract through the online system it should be indicated to which main topic the abstract is being presented.
• The maximum number of authors for the abstract is limited to 10 people.
• The presenting author must be registered for the congress and pay the registration fee.
• Only two abstracts may be submitted per presenting author (1 oral + 1 poster, or 2 posters).
• Authors should indicate their preference about the type of presentation, however, the scientific committee will reserve the right to modify the presentation format suggested.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

• Oral communications will be allocated 10 minutes and at the end of each block there will be time for questions. Chairs will ensure that the presentation time is strictly respected.
• PowerPoint presentations must be delivered at the meeting room at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. They cannot be uploaded once the session has started.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

• Poster boards size is 0.90×2.40m, so poster size A0: 841×1189 mm is highly recommended. Each poster will be assigned a numbered board. Hanging material (double side tape) will be available in the poster area. In the case of fabric posters, it is the author’s responsibility to bring the material to hang it.
• There will be 2 or 3 poster sessions.
• The main author must stand next to the poster during the corresponding poster session.
