Faculty of Pharmacy/Charles University: 6th STARSS Conference on Separation Science

Dear Colleagues,

Our STARSS project, “Establishment of Specialized Team for Advanced Research on Separation Science,” is approaching its end. The five years have quickly gone, and we are now in the last year of investigation. The annual STARSS conference, compiled of presentations of internationally recognized scientists in separation science, has become an essential tool to support the project goals. The topics cover chromatographic and electro-driven separations, sample preparation, hyphenation of separations with mass spectrometry, and multi-dimensional separations. And the applications focus on innovations in pharmaceutical, bioanalytical, natural product analysis, omics sciences, environmental, and food analysis.

Conference is open for all and free of a registration fee. Therefore, it is our greatest pleasure to invite you to the „6th STARSS Conference on Separation Science” which will be held in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.

Please register 👉 here also for ON-LINE broadcast.

The scientific program will be compiled of presentations by excellent speakers:

Prof. Ruth Andrew (University of Edinburgh, Scotland)
  • An image of the future of steroid biochemistry
Prof. Ken Broeckhoven (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium)
  • Modelling of analyte profiles and band broadening generated by interface loops used in multi-dimensional liquid chromatography
Assoc. Prof. Petr Česla (University of Pardubice, Pardubice, Czech Republic)
