Sales Development Manager

This is a very interesting career opportunity for an individual who is passionate about liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry sales and management of indirect sales channel for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The position’s primary responsibility is to personally drive revenue targets through indirect channels in SEA and through a team of in-country business development managers. The role is required to travel 50% of his/her time within SEA region.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Primarily responsible for driving Order and Sales revenue targets for the indirect channels for SEA region.
  • Manage distribution networks and in-country business development managers for indirect channels in SEA region.
  • Work with Market Development and Applications Team to support the business in SEA region.
  • Maintain a high degree of Forecasting Accuracy in support of SEA region business objectives with appropriate usage of business technologies.
  • Create networks, collaborate, influence and educate key stake holders internally and externally, while maintaining a high degree of personal, scientific and business credibility.
  • Collaborate in a matrix organization with other Business Managers as well as other professionals throughout the organization to ensure transfer of best practices and achievement of region goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science or related fields of study. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 Years of Strong Sales/Commercial Experience within these technical areas: UPLC separation, SFC, separation, sample preparation, LC-MS analysis, and data processing and interpretation.
  • Three or more years of professional experiences in managing channel partners in the SEA region would be preferred.
