Technical Product Manager

Technical Product Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Prioritize and advocate customer and business current and future needs into the Product development team.
- Translate the user persona and collaborate with a cross-functional team including research, development, service, support and Product management to develop product requirements/ product specifications.
- Ensure the product requirements are executed upon during new product development.
- Define the validation strategy and contribute to and approve the validation plan.
- In collaboration with Product Manager author User Needs Document
- Communicate progress to LC/MS leadership at regular cadence; Rapidly engage product line director if project deliverables are off-track.
- Understand customer workflows and task flows relevant to product under development.
- Collect and analyze customer VOC relevant to product under development.
- Conduct/Support external customer evaluation to gain customer insight and test value of features and/or product.
- Assist with global product launch, including sales training and collateral development to ensure product launch execution.
- We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can effectively manage their time to work across time zones with our North American R&D team while maintaining the highest standards in collaboration and communication.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BSc, MSc, PhD level technical degree in life science.
- Hands on 5+ years of experience working in laboratory environment with Mass spectrometry.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: ability to dissect problems and projects into manageable tasks.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the product development team of an organization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to development team.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Proven ability to make decisions, positively influence others, and work well in a fast-moving environment.
- Interpersonal Skill: Strong team player who has a proven track record of working effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment and with user groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact well with people at all levels within an organization.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skill

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
