Product Application Specialist - Field
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Scientist II to join our Field Applications team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide exceptional pre-sales and post-sales technical and application support to our customers. You will play a pivotal role in assisting customers with their inquiries, providing education and training, and conducting on-site visits.
Responsibilities
- Develop methods for chromatography products including GCMS, HPLC, UHPLC.
- Pre & Post sales applications.
- Deliver customer presentations, technical seminars, and trainings on chromatographic products and applications.
- Deepen and broaden customer relationships with key scientific and educational leaders.
- Assist in the development of educational content for company websites, videos, seminars, and applications reports.
- Troubleshoot and handle product-related issues at demo labs or customer sites.
- Generate technically reviewed Application notes and contribute to global Tech tools.
- Stay up-to-date on current technology trends and scientific literature to support the sales force team.
Requirements
- Post Graduate/PhD in Chemistry (Analytical/Organic), Biochemistry, or Pharmacy.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in GCMS operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HPLC
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharma/Biopharma/Food/ Academia industry.
- Strong interest in learning alternate chromatographic techniques for customer support.
- Willingness to travel extensively (over 60%) within India.
