We provide a broad offering of instruments, consumables, software and services that are used for a range of applications in the laboratory, on the production line and in the field. These products and services are used by customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental, and other research and industrial markets, as well as clinical laboratories. AIG includes three divisions – Chemical Analysis, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, and Materials and Structural Analysis – and our Services business, Instrument Services.
Field service sales
Provide post sales customer support such as installation, customer training, on-site repair, preventative maintenance, remote support or technical consultation to ensure customer purchased Thermo Fisher products meet factory standards and customer expectations, thus achieve and strengthen customer satisfaction and allegiance to Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieves the planned growth for revenue and bookings in the assigned accounts/territory while maintaining or exceeding margin goals.
- Provides realistic sales forecasts to management and communicates any significant changes or developments in a proactive and timely manner.
- Builds, analyzes and understands business trends to look for opportunities to improve current sales within assigned regions.
- Evaluates market trends and captures competitive information, identifies trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Collaborates with other groups within Thermo Fisher to implement strategies, identify and address cross-selling and collaborative business opportunities and overcome obstacles.
- Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and applicable laws.
- Work independently to support CMD products involving: installations, customer trainings, on-site diagnostics & repair services, preventative maintenance, application methodology delivery.
- Provide remote technical assistance, consultation to customers.
- Accurately document field service activities, including installation reports, repair reports, preventative maintenance reports, and timely submit through the required system.
- Follow DOA and Hot Account procedures to report issues to related functions, and collaborate to solve.
- Implement key account strategies for high profile customers and maintain good relationship with industry opinion leaders.
- Share experience and methodology of product services and applications with colleagues. Help improving team support capacity.
- Actively participate PPI projects to keep optimizing work quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
- BS degree or above in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical, environment engineering or relevant majors.
- Two years or above working & operation experience of HPLC and LCMS. Proficiency with computer knowledge is also required.
- Preference will be given to those with 2+years field service experience of LCMS, GCMS and HPLC, previous experience in installing, servicing, and application support of analytical instrumentation.
- Strong will and interest to diagnose and solve problems on hardware and application of LCMS.
- Have the ability to work independently, have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
