Product Application Specialist - Lab
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist II to join our dynamic team. As a Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in providing pre-sales and post-sales technical and application assistance to our customers. You will have the opportunity to work with world-class chromatographic products and applications, and contribute to the advancement of scientific research.
Responsibilities
- Method Development, Demo and Sample analysis, Application Note Development.
- Provide technical and application assistance to customers, including education, training, and on-site visits.
- Conduct customer presentations, technical seminars, and trainings on chromatographic products and applications.
- Develop educational content for company-hosted websites, videos, seminars, and applications reports.
- Generate technically reviewed application notes and contribute to data/reports upload to global tech tools.
- Collaborate with key scientific and educational leaders to deepen and broaden customer relationships.
- Troubleshoot product-related issues at demo labs or customer sites.
- Stay up to date with current technology trends and scientific literature to support the sales force team.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate / PhD in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic) / Biochemistry / Pharmacy/Equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in working on LCMS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pharma / Biopharma.
- Interest in learning alternate chromatographic techniques as part of cross-product training for customer support.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel
