Scientist (Lipid Chemistry, Polymer Science)
You will play a pivotal role in the development of new products with applications in transfection and delivery of macromolecules such as RNA and DNA, protein delivery, protein expression, and cell culture.
While focusing on the chemistry of lipids, peptides, and polymers, you'll have the opportunity to independently elaborate and carry out multi-step synthesis of organic molecules, develop novel synthetic methodologies, and work towards launching innovative products.
Your expertise will be used in the drafting of standard operating procedures (SOP) and other technical documentation required for patent filing or publication, and maintain accurate lab notebooks.
Additionally, you'll be developing purification methods by chromatography, analyzing molecules, and preparing conditions for technology transfer.
To qualify for this position
- MS degree with 5+ years experience including experimental ability or Ph.D. in organic chemistry or an equivalent international degree followed by 2 years of research experience. Academic experience can be applied.
- Knowledge of lipid and polymer chemistry, solid-phase synthesis, operate instruments and interpret data relative to analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC/MS, FTIR, NMR, UV-Visible, and fluorescence is required.
- Proficiency in drafting synthetic procedures and regulatory documentation, as well as knowledge of cGMP regulations, is also desired.

- The capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently, to work in a setting that responds to business needs and priorities, and a proficient use of communication technologies, molecule drawing software, statistical software are required.
