Are you ready to advance your career in a position that blends scientific expertise with sales proficiency? Waters Corporation is looking for a dedicated and motivated Senior Sales Applications Chemist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. In this role, you will demonstrate your technical knowledge and sales abilities to enhance the performance of our advanced analytical instruments.
This is a temporary position for about 1.5 years, working at the Waters Corporation Regional Demo Lab in Vienna, Austria.
Responsibilities
The job involves running potential customer samples, developing applications, and doing demonstrations to customers on our HPLC/UPLC/MS/MS instruments, mostly triple quadrupole mass spectrometers.
Key Responsibilities
- Run potential customer samples: Operate HPLC/UPLC/MS/MS instruments, including triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, to analyze and interpret customer samples with precision.
- Develop applications: Build tailored applications to showcase the capabilities of Waters instruments, highlighting their world-class performance.
- Perform demonstrations: Conduct detailed product demonstrations for potential customers, showcasing the outstanding features and benefits of our innovative technology.
- Collaborate with the sales team: Work closely with our ambitious sales team to align technical presentations with sales strategies, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Provide technical support: Offer expert mentorship and support to customers, helping them to successfully implement our solutions and achieve flawless results.
Qualifications Requirements
- Experience: Some experience operating Waters mass spectrometer instruments, with a preference for candidates familiar with MassLynx or Waters Connect software.
- Education: A degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
- Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/MS/MS technologies and their applications.
- Sales aptitude: Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and present complex technical information in an accessible manner.
- Location: This position is based in Vienna, Austria.
