Associate Scientist
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we offer an outstanding opportunity for a Specialist, Clinical Lab Scientist to contribute to groundbreaking research. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation and competing at the highest levels of scientific excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform intricate analysis and possess an in-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures.
- Complete a range of accurate sample preparation and analysis procedures with precision.
- Train on the routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation, including pipetting, extraction techniques, and LCMS instrumentation.
- Review and compile results, ensuring strict data comparison against SOP acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol, and product specifications.
- Communicate project status to project leaders and maintain a detailed laboratory notebook.
- Complete all laboratory documentation in clear and accurate language according to SOPs and GLP guidelines.
- Perform daily work assignments accurately, timely, and safely.
- Review, interpret, and analyze data for technical quality and compliance with protocols, methods, SOPs, client criteria, and GLP guidelines.
- Conduct self and peer review of data for accuracy and compliance before submission to QA and issuance to customers.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a research or laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of pipetting, extraction techniques, and LCMS instrumentation.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs and GLP guidelines.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- A dedication to maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
