SEA Sales Assistant

As SEA Sales Assistant you are an strong support to SEA distribution manager who will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. You will demonstrate a clear grasp of SEA distribution strategy and understanding the patners’ business, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering to the manager, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”. This position brings you a great degree of flexibility working with SEA Distribution manager.
The successful candidate will be required to help the field sales, marketing activities, communicate with customers to connect between sales and service/application. With the customer-oriented mindset, meet the customer’s expectation and service. The candidate will be required to collaborate with Sales/Service/Application/CSR
Responsibilities
- Assist in ongoing review records and information to determine effectiveness of work processes and procedures via CRM(Salesforce)
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals.
- Attend to all incoming Sales calls and collect vendor/customer information
- Assist vendor creation in Ariba as well as External vendor creation – to support filling up forms and to provide necessary documents for new customer, e.g., company details, bank account details, ISO, BizSAFE etc
- Maintain CRM data including account/contact & Opportunity creation, assist quote generation, and update.
- Following up backlogs to expedite deliveries and ensure no past due dates occur
- Support Sales team to prepare consumables/parts price quotes, order confirmation, shipping, delivery confirmation, AR tracking and other sales related documents, etc.
- Assist sales team to execute local MKT events, seminars/webinars etc. and communicate with APAC MKT team.
- Participate in process improvement activities to streamline work processes
- Provide Pre- and post-sales support, including managing physical returns, replacements, and other related activities - SEA (MY,SG, TH, VN, ID, PH)
- Provide post-sales support, including managing physical returns, replacements, and other related activities through CRM for service team.
- Perform back-up / standby duties as needed to ensure smooth daily Order Operations to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree or above, Business adminstration or related is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in polymer, material, chemical related industry.
