Position Summary:

Seeking a proactive Sales Development Manager in Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) to develop strategies for high-tech sectors (Semi, Battery-related industries), collaborating with colleagues and partners to create sales growth and achieve target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for semiconductor, battery, and related sectors.
    • Build strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to find opportunities and trends.
    • Collaborate with sales, applications, marketing teams, and other relevant functions to grow the sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Market and Customer Development:
    • Develop market and customer plans to drive growth.
    • Understand customer needs, identify new opportunities, and establish valuable partnerships.
    • Provide ongoing support and manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and dedication.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Collaborate with CMD internal collaborators, Thermo Fisher Korea, and CMD Global teams.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
    • Collaborate with the Korea corporate Key Account Management team to build strategic relationships and improve share-of-wallet with key customers.
  • Market Expansion and Business Intelligence:
    • Maintain senior-level relationships with customers to understand their strategies and needs.
    • Track industry trends and update sales activities in Salesforce.com for accurate reporting and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, Engineering).
    • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor, battery, or related industries.
    • Successful track record in market and customer development.
    • Strong communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Preferred:
    • Master’s degree (MBA) or related field.
    • Experience with analytical instruments and technologies.
    • Experience in a multinational corporation.
    • Familiarity with Thermo Fisher products, services and culture.

Core Skills & Abilities:

  • Highly motivated and dynamic.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
