We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen, currently with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets.

To strengthen our agile life science team, we are looking for a motivated student worker (m/f/d) who is eager to learn and to collaborate with our research and development scientists:
A day in the Life:
- Preparing samples for LC-MS analysis
- Operating LC-MS systems to acquire data
- Data evaluation using Python
- Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Collaborating with team members to optimize experimental protocols
- Documenting experimental procedures and results accurately
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to project discussions
Your tasks and responsibilities will be diverse and exciting, with the opportunity to participate and learn in research projects in a motivated, open, multi-disciplinary team, where different opinions are valued:
Keys to Success:
Education
- Student in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, physics, or related science, or equivalent education
Experience
- Experience in writing programs for data analysis using Python or other programming languages
- Hands-on mentality with talent for laboratory work and data analysis
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Interested in technology and science
- Good at open communication, likes to work in a team, eager to learn in an international environment
- Language skills in English and German
