Field Service Engineer, IC (신입가능)
Job Description
Job Title: Field Service Engineer, IC (신입가능)
- Location: Based in Seoul (Suseo) with over 80%+ field visits. Driving required.
- Coverage: includes Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do
- Clients: Supporting diverse clients across pharma/biopharma, environmental, semiconductor/materials, academia, and government sectors
- Portfolio: Ion Chromatography (IC)
Responsibility
- Provides timely on-site response or remote technical support to commercial and field service engineer team regarding application issues by identifying, analyzing, and solving complex hardware, applications and/or software failures
- Collaborates with application and commercial team to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
- Maintains their technical competency level servicing new instrument and problems by attending trainings, staff meetings and remaining up to speed on new products, markets, customers, and competitors
- Develop materials and manuals related to service issue
- Receive customer service requests for installations, calibrations, preventive maintenance and basic repairs, and promptly contact the customer to schedule services
- Report daily activities in reporting tool for accurate record keeping, including closing service calls upon completion.
- Maintain courteous and knowledgeable communication with customers to ensure alignment on all aspects of the service event (status, cost, scheduling, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of replacement parts, return defective material in a timely manner
Requirements/Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree (preference : chemistry, physics, biochemistry or chemical engineering related
- fields)
- Good communication skill with global service team in English.
- Long-distance out-of-office work possible
- Work with customer support remotely from your office or home
