Repair Center Engineer
Overview
Waters Wyatt, Dernbach, are hiring! Repair Centre Engineer.
Waters Wyatt provide customers with innovative technologies and scientific expertise to support the research, development, and delivery of novel therapeutics and next-generation materials.
Would you like to work in an ambitious, interactive team? We are delighting our customers with solution-oriented support as well as onsite maintenance and deport repair. You will be part of this team helping each other to find always the fastest and best option keeping the downtime for our customers low with a high standard and quality level maintained.

Responsibilities
Role
- Carrying out repairs on our measuring instruments and detectors in our repair shop
- Inspecting instruments to assess their technical condition prior to repair or to approve them for use in the laboratory
- Assessing repair requirements (spare parts and time) in order to prepare cost estimates
- Documenting repairs in our CRM software
- Carrying out service work (preventive maintenance) at the customer's site
- Carrying out repairs at the customer's site
Qualifications
Requirements
- Technical or electrical engineering training or degree
- Professional experience desirable, but not essential
- Experience with SAP or another CRM system desirable, but not essential
- Experience in the maintenance of analytical instruments advantageous
- Interest in field work and dealing with customers
- Professional level German and English languages
- Willing to travel up to 25%, within Europe and training for 2 weeks in Santa Barbara
- On site working 5 days a week required
