Join our team as an Application Engineer and play a key role in supporting sales and customer success by providing technical expertise and application support for Agilent’s HPLC and Dissolution portfolio. What You Will Do
- Support sales and product specialists by providing technical and application expertise to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Participate actively in the sales process from qualification to technical closure.
- Conduct product demonstrations, method development, and optimization for customer applications.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Deliver technical seminars, training sessions, and contribute to recognized scientific forums.
- Act as the voice of the customer to influence future product and application design.
- Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and identify Agilent’s unique advantages.
- Collaborate on technical sales strategies and ramp-to-volume plans for new products.
- Ensure compliance with customer/vendor credentialing requirements for site access.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with HPLC and Dissolution systems, including method development and optimization.
- Strong understanding of analytical instruments in pharma, food, chemical, or related markets.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, organize tasks effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and engage with customers.
- Familiarity with Agilent products and SAP systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
