Lab Analyst
Job Description
As a Lab Analyst, you will be providing services in an analytical laboratory (Process Analytical Research / Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Synthetics DS LCS). Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the analytical support of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Synthetics DS LCS research related to the production of commercial APIs.
Your tasks and responsibilities within this department/team are:
- You are responsible for the practical execution of analyses using HPLC, UHPLC/MS, GC, etc.
- You process and report analysis results using software programs.
- You take care of the equipment entrusted to you.
- You have an eye for safety, health, the environment, order, and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- You hold master’s degree in a field of chemistry preferably analytical chemistry.
- A first experience with chromatographic and/or spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-Hs, and MS.
- Expertise in other analytical techniques such as titrations, NMR, IC, and XRF is an added advantage.
- You work accurately, independently, and are stress-resistant.
- You enjoy working in a team and are flexible.
- You have good social and communication skills.
- Fluent communication skills in English. A high reading level of Dutch is required as SOPs are written in Dutch.
