 Technical Specialist – Proteomics

Are you a personable and commercially savvy scientist with a strong technical background in mass-spec based proteomics? This role is an exciting opportunity to spearhead proteomics applications and market growth for a leading instrument development company.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for proteomics to ensure the company’s product portfolio is the first choice in new R&D
  • Lead growth of mass spec applications into established pharma, biopharma, and academic organizations
  • Advise the field sales team on how to pitch instruments to specific customers
  • Work with external stakeholders to advise on customer trends and plan business approach
Candidate Qualifications
  • PhD in relevant scientific discipline
  • Hands-on background in mass-spec based proteomics (> 5 years of experience)
  • Sales, business development, and/or other commercial experience are ideal
  • Ability to travel to client sites in Boston/Cambridge extensively
