Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor – FDA/ISO Manufacturing
VRS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA auditor looking for a fast-paced role in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have worked under regulations for FDA and ISO manufacturing, ideally for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or food-related products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, lead, and execute internal manufacturing and external supplier audits; prepare reports for final release
- Host and coordinate FDA audits
- Liaise directly with manufacturing teams on large scale production lines
- Ensure regulatory compliance (primarily FDA and ISO); review and implement quality processes
- Focus on continuous improvement for new and existing processes
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of a BA / BS degree, ideally in a scientific field
- Expertise with regulations for Pharma, Dietary Supplements, or Food-related products (FDA, GMP, and/or ISO experience is preferred); 21CFR (210, 211, 507) is a PLUS!
- Minimum of 5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel 20-30% domestically; occasional international travel
- Team player who can think on their feet and enjoys collaboration and creative problem solving
Salary:
- $80-90K base salary commensurate with experience
