Senior Quality Assurance Specialist – GLP
VRS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior QA Specialist with GLP expertise to join a contract research organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement within the laboratory using electronic document systems
- Ensure regulatory compliance (primarily GLP and GMP) within the company and review and implement quality processes
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory inspectors
- Host and coordinate audits and prepare reports for final release
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- Expertise with both GLP and GMP regulations (CLIA experience is a plus!)
- Minimum of 4 years of QA experience in a regulated laboratory setting
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills
