Field Service Engineer – Scientific Instruments 

Great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer who loves to travel and work with customers! We are currently looking for a Service Engineer in the Northeast US region covering NJ, NY, PA, MD, DE, DC, MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, and ME. The primary focus of this position will be the repair, maintenance, installation, and support of a variety of lab equipment and instrumentation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot sample preparation related equipment and instrumentation
  • Deliver outstanding customer support by providing customers with training and technical support for installed instruments / equipment
  • Document and report all repairs, product failures, design change recommendations, and other paperwork in a timely fashion
  • Maintain knowledge of current technology and applications
Candidate Qualifications
  • 3+ years working as a Field Service Engineer with scientific instrumentation
  • Minimum of a B.S. in Science or Engineering (Chemistry background preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude, with a thorough and logical troubleshooting style
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to keep cool under pressure
  • Must enjoy travel and fieldwork
Salary:
  • $65-80K annual salary + annual bonus
