Business Development Manager – Life Sciences

Excellent opportunity to join a growing biotechnology company as it launches an innovative, FDA-approved sample collection technology with the potential to transform clinical research, diagnostics, and remote patient testing. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the commercial growth of a newly launched life sciences product, identifying strategic partnerships and expanding adoption across clinical diagnostics, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, hospitals, and healthcare organizations. This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy and global visibility.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive business development activities for an innovative, FDA-approved life sciences technology
  • Develop new opportunities across clinical diagnostic laboratories, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and clinical research organizations
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and open doors with global accounts
  • Identify strategic partnerships and expand international market presence
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations that clearly communicate the value of the technology
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings
Candidate Qualifications
  • Proven success commercializing a novel product within biotechnology, diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences
  • Experience developing business within clinical diagnostics, pharma, CROs, or related healthcare markets
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent technical background
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to a broad audience
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships and win new business with global organizations
  • International business development experience is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Approximately 25% travel
Salary
  • $160-175K base + bonus
  • Excellent healthcare/dental + 401k
