QC Analyst
Your Role
The main role of this position is to support the Quality Control Department at the Anseong site. The successful candidate will perform sample analysis, operate and maintain analytical equipment, and support quality control activities using instruments such as HPLC, IC, GC, and GPC.
- Perform inspections and testing of products and raw materials.
- Conduct statistical process control (SPC) activities.
- Improve and optimize analytical methods.
- Manage quality-related documents (e.g., work instructions and analytical reports).
- Manage the QC laboratory and measurement systems.
- Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting for analytical equipment.
- Support investigations and analyses related to customer complaints.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- New graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, IC, GC, and GPC.
- Basic knowledge of chemical engineering or a related scientific field.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Hard Skills
- Knowledge of Chemical Engineering and/or Chemistry.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or analytical equipment is preferred.
- Ability to design experiments and analyze results using statistical methods.
- Ability to monitor and coordinate equipment maintenance activities.
Soft Skills
- Understanding of the semiconductor industry.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Adaptable and responsive to change with a flexible mindset.
