If you looking to join a growing team, focused on developing analytical solutions to transform biotherapeutic development, then we have an exciting role for you! In this role you will oversee and manage the developmental activities of a cross-functional team responsible for systems integration and assay development of cIEF-MS instrument and cartridges based on microfluidics technology. This is one of the critical leadership roles on our R&D team.
The position is in Fremont, CA and will be a hybrid position.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the team in characterizing performance of the integrated platform, and partner closely with our Engineering, Consumables, Software and Marketing departments to deliver performance and meet quality requirements. This includes ownership over the V&V protocols, testing and reports.

Lead the continued development of the cIEF-MS assays for intact proteins and customer workflows, in close collaboration with the rest of R&D and Marketing.

Develop customer-facing software solutions for intact protein analysis, in close collaboration with the Software and Marketing teams.

Participate in the creation of our strategic technology roadmap development and generation of new and exciting intellectual property.

Strong communication in and out of the R&D function, is critical, as this role works closely with both our Marketing, and key internal and external customers to capture product requirements.

Ensure technical excellence through recruiting, mentoring, growing & developing and retaining the best talent available.

Acquire and allocate resources to optimize our ability to adhere to project timelines and budgets.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
-
PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline, with no less than 5 years of experience in product development.

Knowledge of high complexity systems, microfluidics, mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography (LC-MS), or capillary electrophoresis (CE).

Skilled at coaching and mentoring staff, who are often experts in their field.

Ability to manage teams working on multiple complex projects, simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, formal presentation) at all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this role is between $165,000.00 and $180,000.00, per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
