REMOTE SERVICE ENGINEER (ICP & OIS, LC & GC)
Job Description:
Initially you will be placed in our Service Contact Center where you will learn the soft skills needed to communicate with customers while also learning how to troubleshoot customer issues remotely as you gain experience with our Hardware and Software solutions. As your knowledge and experience improves we will begin assigning you to Field work alongside a Mentor who will coach you further until you are ready to start supporting our customers directly with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions. Our varied product lines include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.

Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.

Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.

Performs maintenance and repairs.

Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.

Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.

Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.

Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions.
Qualifications

A Bachelors or Master's degree within the science field -- e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology, Informatics or similar.

0-2 years of relevant experience.

Experience or expertise with Spectroscopy (ICP & OIS) and/or Chromatography (LC & GC)

Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.

Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential.

Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely.

You enjoy travelling and visiting customers.

No prior experience required, though your proactive approach, team spirit and eagerness to build your knowledge are what will ultimately drive your success.
