Job Description
To support our customers’ success with Agilent hardware and software we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Professional Services consulting team. You will join a professional team of Field Application Engineers who support customers in the United States and Canada. You will be responsible for educating customers on the entire Agilent portfolio of LC hardware and software and help them develop solutions to their specific application and analytical needs.

Duties will include:
Providing our customers post-sales technical and application support on Agilent's LC and associated detectors.
Delivering customized training and application support both remotely and at customer sites.
Working closely with Sales, Pre-sales application engineers and Product Specialists to understand customer needs and drive the consulting business.
Supporting our Field Service Engineers at escalations where application expertise helps provide a solution to the problem.
Happy to travel throughout North America, a minimum of 3 weeks a month.
Additional responsibilities:
Contributing to the effective and expedient resolution of customer problems.
Providing information to our Customer Service Organization that facilitates the transfer of knowledge and broadens organizational insight and awareness.
Mentoring peers, colleagues and partners to drive workflow and application expertise.
Understanding the needs of customers working in regulated environments.
Leading the delivery of integrated multiple technology solutions.
Solving complex, high impact system/application engineering services problems in environmental, chemical, food and pharma.
GEO LOCATION - this position is REMOTE and must be located in the lower 48 - US within 1 hour of a major metropolitan airport
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD in chemistry/biochemistry or other life-science discipline.
8+ years of work experience with Agilent’s LC solutions with a deep understanding of workflows and complex applications.
Expertise with GPC/SEC, associated detectors and software add-ons is a plus.
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in application implementation and troubleshooting and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.
Confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to learn new technologies on your own.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada- 75% time.
Candidate must be within one hour of a major metropolitan airport.
