ACQUISITION SOFTWARE PRODUCT MANAGER (MASS SPECTROMETRY)
Job Description
Agilent is the global leader in laboratory analyses. Our products help scientists create medicines, ensure food is safe and protect the environment. We are looking for a data-driven product manager to manage the next generation of data acquisition products in Agilent’s mass spectrometry division.
We are seeking an individual that can drive:

Customer research and gain a deep understanding of what Agilent’s mass spectrometry customers need to get the best data from their instruments with a focus on outstanding user experience.

Work with worldwide customers, industry influencers, and authorities across Agilent’s businesses to gather knowledge of customer workflows, industry trends, and MS technologies.

Develop concise product requirements based on analysis/understanding of customer workflow needs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other team members to understand problems, collect new insights, and prioritize the most meaningful projects.

Conduct market and competitive analysis to strategically evaluate new market opportunities.

Partner with internal teams to identify technologies that can improve customer workflows.

Create collateral for product launches.
Qualifications
-
University degree in science/technology and proven experience with mass spectrometry instruments.

4+ years in product management or product marketing of software or mass spectrometry products.

Need technical knowledge of mass spectrometry instrumentation.

Ability to work with other functions in a matrixed organization (Engineering/R&D, marketing, legal, finance, support, sales).

Experience in gathering product and market requirements.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience analyzing and interpreting data to make informed business decisions

Technical depth and business confidence to articulate product choices and defend the definition and priority of features.

Experience in agile software development processes and tools preferred.

Ability to travel up to 25% including international travel.
The US pay range for this full-time position is $150,662.00 - $235,410.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
