Technical Support Specialist (LC-MS)

At Evosep we aim to improve quality of life and patient care by radically innovating how protein based clinical diagnostics are performed, initially through collaborations with world-leading scientists about developing new technologies and solutions to make sample separation 10 times faster and 100 times more robust than todays’ alternatives.

Proteomics is about the study of proteins in a biological mechanism, both their individual function and their combined interactions. For clinical proteomics the goal is to be able to quickly and efficiently compare a biological sample against a profile panel of selected proteins in order to deliver a diagnose / verdict of healthy or diseased (within given statistical margins). Such a profile is typically called a biomarker and for official approval, it must be demonstrated successfully on a large population.

This calls for fast sample processing and because such clinical samples, in the form of blood or biopsies, are much more crude that the relatively clean cell cultures used in basic research, very robust protocols and consumables are also required.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - NORTH AMERICA (LC-MS)

Do you have hands-on experience with LC-MS instrumentation for proteomics, great technical knowledge and excellent people and communication skills? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new home-office based Technical Support Specialist for the Evosep One. We are experiencing increasing demand in North America, and we need you on the Evosep team to provide excellent technical support for our customers, service partners and Evosep product specialists. The candidate will be referring directly to the factory based in Denmak.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customers and service partners in North America.

• Maintain CRM system with service records, workflows etc.

• Design, create and maintain service documentation and training material.

• Plan and provide training for customers and service partners.

Qualifications

For this role, the following qualifications would also be preferable:

• Technician, Engineer, B. Sc., M. Sc., or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Analytical Sciences, Biochemistry or related fields.

• Good technical skills and ability to quickly analyze and understand complex technical issues.

• Genuine insterest in troubleshooting advanced instruments.

• Hands-on experience with nano LC-MS instrumentation for proteomics.

• Good communication and “people” skills are essential. This goes for both writing and presenting skills, as well as listening and interaction skills in general.

• Structured and self-motivated working from home office.
