Job Description
Agilent Laboratory Solutions Group is looking for an Application Scientist to deliver technical expertise and solution implementation for our customers based on Agilent's products and services.
Responsibilities will include:
Work closely with account managers to define customer requirements, demonstrate Agilent solutions, and win qualified opportunities.
Collaborate and consult with customers to develop effective processes for achieving their analytical and business goals.
Share your expertise in separations/chromatography to optimize customer workflows. Workflow solutions can integrate analytical technologies such as liquid chromatography, chemistries, columns and software for data acquisition and analysis.
Help customers translate data into insights to demonstrate the capabilities and value of Agilent’s workflow solutions.
Demonstrate coordinated workflow solutions to customers during the sales process, by running groundbreaking analyses in Agilent Centers of Excellence or in customer laboratories.
Share demo results and scientific knowledge with a global network of peers to accelerate the success of your extended team.
Provide input to several product line teams to influence future products, application development, and troubleshooting insights.
Develop and deliver technical promotional presentations in virtual / digital environment and in person environment for conferences, workshops, and customer events.
Promote Agilent's products and aiding in the training of the sales force and providing feedback to product line division on new products prior to release.

Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters or Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry or another science discipline.
Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with liquid phase separations and solutions; Pharma / BioPharma highly desired.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent presentation, communication with use of virtual tools and customer facing skills.
Proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions for sophisticated challenges.
Project management, influential and interpersonal skills helpful
Requires flexibility in working hours and available for up to 50% business travel.
The US pay range for this full-time position is $98,550.00 - $164,250.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
