Job Description
The European Chemistry team is delighted to offer the right candidate the opportunity to join a customer obsessed team deeply involved in providing solutions that positively impact global health. Through high quality chemistry consumables for LC and LC/MS, we enable customers to turn their samples into confident results today and any day in the future.
As the chemistry sales manager you are in charge of leading and coaching an ambitious sales team, that is keen to grow the chemistry and lab automation business at new and existing customers, while we focus on problems that matter for our customers.
Your team is responsible for a territory of varied accounts which will be fulfilled through a combination of run rate business as well as identifying and working with customers looking to develop new methods and rectify issues they may have with their lab workflow.
Responsibilities

Being the people leader for 9 sales people.

Responsible and accountable for reaching the financial chemistry targets for Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

Through strong leadership; attract, motivate and develop a highly performing, diverse sales team.

Coach and support the team's chemistry business plan development and execution.

Forecast your business on a monthly basis.

Demonstrate and drive your team towards a disciplined and compliant way of working within our commercial processes, administrative and reporting tasks

Qualifications

Significant Experience as a sales manager with a proven track record sales of analytical chromatographic solutions, consumables, services or informatics is a nice to have

Leadership skills - Eager to hit measurable success by managing a team of diverse individuals

Proven excellent communication skills, including in a remote environment

Ability to think beyond the chemistry department and understand the wider corporate organizational needs

Language skills - Fluent in English, Dutch, French, Danish or Swedish would be nice to have
