EVERGREEN REC FOR SALES ROLES

  • The position will be responsible for SCIEX products sales in the bio-pharmaceutical, food, environment, forensics, medical, academia, and other industries in Japan.

  • Responsibilities will include lead generation, enquiry follow up, prospecting for new business, initiating and organizing demonstrations, producing sales forecasts and territory planning, customer quotation, dealer coordination and achieving product revenue and growth targets at bio-pharmaceutical, food, environment, forensics, medical, academia, and other accounts in Japan.

  • The Sales Representative will develop a deep understanding of customer workflow to identify gaps that we can address with our product and service offering, also deep understanding of competition and being able to competitively position products to achieve high win rates.

  • Taking a consultative sales approach, the Sales Representative will compete for all existing sales opportunities and develop new business within the territory to meet or exceed plan.

  • This will involve managing a significant number of key accounts to build and maintain long term relationships. To achieve these objectives, the Sales Representative will use and involve internal resources and stakeholders early in the sales process and in the most efficient way.

  • During the course of daily responsibilities, the Sales Representative will gather information from the field and deliver it to Marketing to allow the Company to develop strategies and products appropriate to the market.

  • The Sales Representative will work with Marketing, Applications, and Service teams to achieve SCIEX products’ business targets.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Proven success working in a field-based role.

  • Proven success in penetrating and managing large accounts.

  • An understanding of the market with life science background.

  • More than 5-8 years of experience in channel sales of industrial products,

  • More than 3 years of experience in B2B business Good communication skills and sales skills; Strategic mind set Proven track record of successful sales in bio-pharmaceutical, food, environment, forensics, medical, academia, and other industries, preferably related to Capillary Electrophoreses and Mass Spectrometry, preferred.

  • Good technical and product knowledge in MS and CE science preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Highest levels of personal and professional integrity, ethics.

  • Must be native level of Japanese language. Verbal English communication skills at business level.

  • Experience with personal computer, e-mail, Microsoft Office programs, and CRM systems.
