TRAINING CONTENT SPECIALIST - CE
Are you looking to use your knowledge and experience to help design and create highly specialized scientific education programs for our Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) systems?
The Training Content Specialist - Capillary Electrophoresis's main responsibility is designing and creating highly specialized scientific education programs and troubleshooting content for our CE systems.
This includes leading the direction of the development of our customer facing content.
This content will be Customer facing eLearning, How To Videos, digital training course materials, Instructor-led course materials, self-help knowledge articles, methods and exercises.
The Training Content Specialist- Capillary Electrophoresis will work with various cross-functional teams.
This position will ensure that all content is designed using the latest methods to improve customer learning retention as well as improve customer experience.
There will be many opportunities to learn content development but will also allow growth opportunities in improving the customer journey.
This position is part of the Customer Experience group in Strategic Marketing and will be located in our Framingham, MA, Brea, CA, Concord, ON or Redwood Shores, CA location. SCIEX empowers our customers to solve the most impactful analytical challenges in quantitation and characterization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Continuously improve the quality of our training and support programs and content
Research the latest scientific literature to ensure we are using the most effective education tools and methods for CE
Work directly with other Applications Scientists and Service subject matter experts to determine the critical scientific information customers need to learn to successfully run advanced applications.
Build new digital content to educate our customers. Focus on eLearning and How to Video design and creation. This will include voice-over and voice narration.
Test digital tool updates on our website, in our CRM (Salesforce.com) and on our LMS
The essential requirements of the job include:
A B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Capillary Electrophoresis.
Significant experience with troubleshooting and testing CE methods
Experience conducting training for users of analytical instruments
Some experience creating training and support materials
Experience using SCIEX CE systems
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Latest content authoring tools including but not limited to: Articulate 360 (Storyline, Articulate 13) and Captivate
Ability to speak English clearly for voice narration
Using LC-MS systems
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
