The Senior Application Scientist will be responsible for CE-MS product demonstrations to customers, field application support, product/method development, technical marketing content generation, and internal and external training for biopharma and life science customers.
This position is part of the Senior Application Scientist and will be located in Fremont, CA co-located with the CE-MS Center of Excellence and the Intabio CE-MS R&D team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations to demonstrate groundbreaking cIEF-UV/MS and CE-MS products and workflows in biopharma.
Work with product development and research teams to assist in defining, developing and thoroughly testing new hardware and software products.
Support the commercial team as the technical expert on novel cIEF-UV/MS and CE-MS technology.
Perform application development directed at advancing cutting-edge cIEF-UV/MS workflows.
Partner with customers to develop technical notes, publications, and presentations and participate in the global scientific community through conferences, seminars, and training programs.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or biology, or related field, with no less than 5+ years of experience in Application Science.
No less than 2 years of experience in LC-MS/CE-MS or CE at a biopharmaceutical/biotech company
Experience in biopharma characterization workflows covering sample preparation, analytical method development and data processing.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong scientific presentation and public speaking skills.
Up to 25% travel

The salary range for this role is between $140,000.00 and $150,000.00, per year.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
