LCMS WORKFLOW SPECIALIST
Job Description
An Agilent LCMS Workflow Specialist is a direct sales role that leverages technical sales expertise for Agilent products and services to integrate them (at the workflow solutions level) into a customer's environment. They are engaged during many different phases of the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, feature-by-feature demonstrations, benchmarks, positioning, and implementation/execution. In addition, this team member understands customers' problems, recommends solutions to meet their needs, and ensures success.
Responsibilities:

Carries a sales quota and serves as subject matter expert for a given workflow or set of workflows.

Actively participates in all aspects of the sales process, engaging with customers to qualify and deliver workflow solutions.

Creates, monitors and revises prospecting/lead generation activities.

Works with Marketing to create and deploy workflow messaging

Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction.

Maintains long-term relationships with key customers.

Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

Works with broader sales organizations to qualify customer requirements and recommend an appropriate solution.

Delivers sample/instrument demos as needed.

Serves as the voice of the customer to influence future product design that meets customer needs.
Qualifications
-
Masters, Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or related field highly preferred; may consider applicants with equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant work experience.

4+ years of experience with a broad range of LCMS instrumentation and applications is required or a combination of education and experience.

Experience in LC-triple quadrupole and high-resolution mass spectrometry is required. In addition, experience in one or more of the following LCMS application areas is desirable: biopharma, clinical, or forensics.

Experience working in Marketing, Sales or Business Development at a Life Science vendor is preferred.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in addition to strong project management and time-management skills are required.

Works well with all levels of staff, internal and external customers, and partners.

Available for a flexible work schedule and up to 35% business travel across Canada and the United States, including overnight.

The US pay range for this full-time position is $144,825.00 - $284,823.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
