PRE SALES BIOPHARMA APPLICATION SPECIALIST (M/F/D)
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Pre-Sales LC-MS Field Application Specialist - Biopharma Market to join the Application Team in Germany.
Waldbronn, in Germany is one of the company's largest locations in EMEA. You will be a part of a professional team of Application Specialists in the Agilent's Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group.
In this role, you will support the sales process by providing application support and demonstrating our LC-MS instrumentation and analytical workflows to our clients across EMEA.
You will address the needs of our customers in the Biopharma Market.
It is therefore important that you are technically strong, proactive, communicative and a team player.
You are familiar with:
The LC-MS analysis of Proteins/Oligonucleotides
Newest analytical trends in the biopharma market
Responsibilities:
Address the analytical needs of customers in EMEA by developing new methods or applying established ones, demonstrating the performance of the whole Agilent LCMS portfolio in the Agilent Centre of Excellence in Waldbronn, Germany.
Understand customer's challenges, recommend solutions, and ensure highest customer satisfaction.
Communicate & position the results to customers through presentations, scientific conferences, seminars, workshops, digital content generation and user meetings.
Travel to customer sites to present results, implement methods, provide application consulting, and deliver on-site customer trainings classes.
Provide your application and market expertise at every level of the value chain, by working closely with product managers, marketing managers, sales teams, customer support and opinion leaders.
Maintain and expand your expertise including the latest scientific findings, market & technology trends, industry benchmarks & regulations and positioning of the competition.
Work closely with the sales team to exceed LC-MS sales target
Qualifications:
University Degree or PhD with a strong focus in Life Science analysis (Biochemistry or equivalent...)
Significant hands-on experience and knowledge with LC-MS technology and its operation, method development and optimization with focus on protein/oligonucleotide applications
Motivated self-starter with drive, energy and enthusiasm to succeed in this exciting and challenging role;
Excellent presentation, communication and customer facing skills is required;
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills;
Full proficiency in English and German.
Willingness to travel (throughout Europe) 10% - 25% max. (occasionally) of the time to represent our systems and solutions.
On a personal level, you are customer oriented and you like solving problems. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of an international team. Finally, you also have great communication & presentation skills to interact with many internal and external partners.
