LABORATORY SENIOR TECHNICIAN - VITAMINS AND ADDITIVES - CHATTERIS
About the Position
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Days Per Week: Various shift patterns include: Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 10pm, Tuesday to Saturday from 6am to 2:30pm or Sunday to Thursday from 6am to 2:30pm.
- Contract: Full Time & Permanent
- Annual Salary: £23,788
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Vitamin and Additive analysis using HPLC adhering to strict methods and proceedures.

Train and supervise staff in microbiology methodology and procedures.

Keep shift supervisors informed of potential errors to testing, deadline deviations, stock shortages.

Maintain records accurately and within the prescribed timelines.

Adehere to all quality management and health and safety procedures and protocols.

Assist in the identification of areas for continuous improvement alongside the laboratory manager.
About you:

5 GCSE level or equivalent qualifications in Science, English & Mathematics.

Proficiency in microbiology analysis across a range of methodology and procedures.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs.

Accuracy and attention to detail.
-
Good organisational skills, ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work and succeed in a team environment.
