Waters Corporation: Power up your Productivity through Automation
Waters Corporation: Power up your Productivity through Automation

The preparation of calibration standards and samples is often time consuming, but a critical step in many food testing workflows. Depending on the complexity of sample matrix and the properties of the target analytes, standard and sample preparation can comprise of multiple steps, including homogenization, extraction, extract clean-up, concentration, dilution, or reconstitution. Any error in this process will negatively impact the final analytical data and result in the need for re-analysis. Automation of these steps in standard and sample preparation can reduce human error and improve the accuracy and precision of analyses.

A case study outlining the practical implementation of the Andrew+ and OneLab Software into a routine food contract testing laboratory will be discussed.

We will conclude with a round table Q&A with our panel of speakers.

What you will learn:

  • How automation can help to reduce error and increase workflow efficiency in repetitive standard and sample preparation steps.

  • How the automation of standard and sample preparation steps can be easily implemented using an easy to learn intuitive software.

  • How the use of OneLab software can improve the traceability of standard and sample preparation steps.
