Thermo Fisher Scientific: A new nano UHPLC for omics and biopharma

In this webinar we will showcase the new Thermo Scientific Vanquish Neo UHPLC system, followed by a discussion on the first impressions of the system with customer currently using the system in their laboratory. We will follow with an open question session.

Presentations:

Beyond nanoLC-MS: enabling high-throughput and robust capillary- and micro-flow LCMS protein analysis
  • Alexander Boychenko, Product Marketing Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific
Coupling microflow-LC to FAIMS-MS/MS enables proteome profiling to a depth of 6-8,000 proteins in a single shot
  • Nicola Berner, University of Munich

Learning points:

  • How the Vanquish Neo UHPLC delivers maximum performance 24/7 for nano-, capillary-, and micro-flow LC-MS
  • How to achieve reproducible 24/7 separation of complex mixtures with maximum performance, sensitivity and MS utilization

Who should attend:

  • For -omics and biopharma scientists in academia and industry, core facilities and translational research centers

Presenter: Alexander Boychenko (Product Marketing Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

Alexander Boychenko is a Product Marketing Manager in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry group at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focused on bringing innovative applications and life science technologies to market. He holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, and before joining the company worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, where he developed LC-MS techniques for discovery and validation of protein biomarkers in cervical cancer diagnostics. With a strong scientific background in chromatography, mass spectrometry, physical chemistry, chemometrics, and bioinformatics Alexander is a subject matter expert in LC-MS analysis and theory, new separation technologies, multidimensional separations, LC-MS data analysis and data interpretation in proteomics, biomarker discovery and validation. He utilizes his passion for translating scientists’ technology and application requirements into novel nano-, capillary-, and micro-flow LC-MS workflows and LC products seamlessly hyphenated with mass-spectrometry instruments.
