Waters Corporation: Cyclic IMS in Action: Explore What's Possible
Waters Corporation: Cyclic IMS in Action: Explore What's Possible

We kickstart the series with an overview of the technology and highlight the novel experiments only possible with Cyclic Ion mobility.

Join us to see how to run samples, experience the latest software for data acquisition, visualization, and interpretation. Register now for this event and see for yourself how Cyclic IMS can expand the possibilities in your application.

The session will conclude with a live Q&A where Dale Cooper-Shepherd and members of the Waters ion mobility-mass spectrometry team will be on hand to answer all of your questions.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the operation of this novel SELECT SERIES Cyclic IMS technology and see it in Action!

  • Find out about the unique capabilities of this instrument and how single and/or multi-pass separations with the flexibility of ion-guiding technology data is acquired

  • Discover the benefits and flexibility of this technology for a wide range of applications

Presenter: Dale Cooper-Shepherd (Senior Scientist, Advanced Mass Spectrometry, Waters Corporation)

Dale graduated from the University of Leeds in 2008 with an undergraduate Masters in Chemistry including an industrial placement conducting MALDI imaging research at Pfizer Global R and D. After that he undertook PhD studies with Professor Alison Ashcroft at the University of Leeds studying virus structural proteins by native ion mobility mass spectrometry. Dale then moved to the lab of Professor Justin Benesch at the University of Oxford, UK where he carried out 2 years postdoctoral research into the structure of polydisperse protein chaperones. In 2015 after a short time at the National Measurement Institute Dale joined the biopharma team in the EU demolab at Waters, Wilmslow. In 2019 Dale joined the Advanced Mass Spectrometry Technologies team to work on applications on the SELECT SERIES Cyclic IMS instrument.
