Waters Corporation: Fall Back to Basics - Part 1: Chemistry

In this educational webinar series, we will go back to the basics of chromatography, mass spectrometry, data analysis and troubleshooting. Understanding the importance of the basics will enable you to be more effective in your laboratory. During each session we will cover a specific aspect of your LC or LC/MS system:

  • The theory of chromatography and requirements for great separations
  • The basics of your Liquid Chromatograph (LC): Pumps, injectors, and detectors
  • An Introduction to mass spectrometry (MS) systems
  • Considerations with System Suitability
  • Troubleshooting your LC and MS systems

**PART I | CHEMISTRY **

  • Theory of Chromatography
  • Creating Great Separation Methods
