Oh, What a Mess! Dealing with Unwanted Matrix Effects

If you’ve ever looked at a chromatogram and said, “What’s that?” or thought “That’s not supposed to be there!”, this talk is for you.
We will be discussing:
Chromatography problems that can be caused by sample matrix
How to deal with unwanted matrix effects
Strategies for cleaning up your sample and how that helps protect your column and instrument
Unexpected sources of unknown peaks
Unexpected peaks and issues are often the result of the sample matrix. Understanding what to do about it can help you get the reliable and reproducible chromatography you want.
