Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are the subject of significant regulatory action around the world. PFOA and PFOS are both set to be designated as a hazardous substances and needs analytical testing’s for identification and quantitation in food, water and environment. For the purpose of developing and improving the testing of the PFAS for a wide range of monitoring and improved data quality in different matrices.

Presenter: Dr. Ramaprasad Ganni (Technical Support Specialist, Agilent Technologies)

He has 21 years of experience in the field of Chromatography and Column chemistries. Worked for Elsevier GmbH; Germany, and Millipore India Pvt, Ltd. Presently working with Agilent technologies; India, since 2008 in Chemistries and Supplies division. Responsible for Workflow solutions development, providing technical support, and trainings for various industries of Food, Pharma, Petroleum, Bio-technology. Experienced in developing applications, LC and GC column chemistries and technologies, Sample preparation techniques, method developments and troubleshooting the problems of various chromatography technologies such as LC, GC, Mass Spectrometry, GPC/SEC, and Preparative LC.

Presenter: Dr. Prasanth Joseph (Application Engineer - LC/MS, Agilent Technologies)

Prasanth joined in Agilent in 2015 as application Engineer for LC-MS/MS and has 19 years of experience in the analytical instrumentation industry, specializes in small molecule applications.Prasanth received his PhD in Environmental Science from Bharathiar University, India. He also has master’s degree in business administration from the University of Buckingham, UK. Prasanth developed many analytical methods in LC-MS/MS to quantify genotoxic impurities in drug substance and products, analysis of extractables and leachables in pharma and food packaging & medical devices and Bioavailability and Bioequivalence (BA/BE) studies in clinical trials. He provided guidance in developing LC-MS workflows for impurity profiling of pharmaceuticals and metabolite identification (MetID) and quantification as a part of ADME/DMPK related studies.
