The methods for PFAS testing continue to evolve and testing laboratories are expected to keep pace with that evolution.
In addition, enforceable regulations are expected to soon be the norm rather than an anomaly. As a result, laboratories are taxed with maintaining and/or adding to their scope of accreditation for PFAS analysis. Presenter: Christy Abbas, PhD (Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Waters ERA)
Christy has been with Waters ERA for four years. She has previously worked for an instrument manufacturer, a biopharmaceutical lab and a mining company. She holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines.
In her previous positions she has served the nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical industries along with academia. With analytical chemistry, product development, marketing and sales experience, she is working to expand ERA’s product line to better serve customer needs.
