VWR - Avantor: Hydrophobic interaction chromatography: a versatile method for ADC and protein analysis

Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) is a powerful method for analyzing and characterizing protein-based therapeutics under native conditions. It is the gold standard method for antibody-drug-conjugate (ADCs) analyses, but is equally suitable for the analysis of protein modifications such as oxidations, post-translational modifications or deamidations in protein therapeutics such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). This webinar will explain how HIC works, present application examples, and provide tips and tricks for method development.

Presenter: Andrea Krumm (Product manager, Tosoh Bioscience GmbH)

Andrea Krumm studied biotechnology before gaining a PhD in cell- and cancer-biology. After four years as an applications specialist for optical analytical devices used in academic and pharmaceutical research, she joined Tosoh Bioscience GmbH in 2020 as a product manager for analytical columns. As such she is responsible for gathering customer requirements, application areas and addressing these with new and existing products of the analytical columns line and Tosoh’s Multi-Angle-Light-Scattering Detector LenS3.
