SCIEX: Accurate mass workflows for PFAS in food using the ZenoTOF 7600 system

Increasing concern about PFAS compounds in food and other complex matrices has led to a greater need for reliable and accurate quantitation—something that has already been addressed in many publications.

Scientists are still investigating the full extent of the problem, however, and are discovering challenges that require a much broader scope of analysis. Full-spectral, highly sensitive, accurate mass spectrometry with the SCIEX ZenoTOF 7600 system provides additional information that can be used to identify new analytes and better define the sample matrices, in addition to a complete quantitative, confirmatory workflow. Using novel SWATH DIA, EAD and the Zeno trap for quan and qual workflows, researchers are now able to get a complete and detailed analysis of their samples. The comprehensive data aids in understanding the extent of the PFAS problem and defining how it can be alleviated for future generations.

In this webinar, you will hear about:

  • High-sensitivity workflows for screening and quantitation with precise confirmation, using the ZenoTOF 7600 system

  • SWATH DIA for complete classification of complex samples

  • The use of EAD to identify PFAS compounds in food matrices
