Waters Corporation: [Webinar Week]: Innovations and Applications for the Forensic Workflow

In the realm of forensic toxicology, the need for comprehensive and reliable drug screening methods has never been greater. This webinar will focus on the remarkable advantages of High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) for forensic toxicology screening using Waters_Connect.

We will explore the transformative power of HRMS technology in identifying a wide range of drugs with precision and accuracy. Davor Fielitz, Ph.D., will delve into the capabilities of Waters_Connect, a cutting-edge platform that streamlines and enhances the analytical process. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the following key points:

  • Expanded Analytical Coverage: HRMS offers an unprecedented scope for detecting a multitude of drugs and their metabolites in various matrices, thereby providing a more comprehensive view of potential exposures.

  • Enhanced Sensitivity: Waters_Connect leverages HRMS to deliver superior sensitivity, enabling the detection of drugs at lower concentrations, critical for forensic investigations.

  • High-Resolution Data: The high-resolution capabilities of HRMS not only allow for precise drug identification but also aid in differentiating between structural isomers, reducing false-positive identifications.

  • Data Integration and Analysis: Waters_Connect simplifies data management and analysis, empowering forensic laboratories to efficiently process and interpret complex data sets.

Join us for this illuminating webinar as Davor Fielitz unveils the future of forensic toxicology with HRMS and Waters_Connect. Discover how this innovative technology can help you "Find Them All" and enhance your forensic drug screening capabilities. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the next frontier in forensic analysis.

Presenter: Davor Fielitz, Ph.D. (Senior Clinical Support Specialist EMEA, Waters Corporation)

Davor Fielitz is a highly accomplished professional with a rich background in the field of analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Support Specialist at Waters, EMEA, Davor focuses on pre-sales activities, with a specialization in high-resolution toxicology screening.

Davor's journey:PhD research at A&M Stabtest, a pharmaceutical CRO, where he developed expertise in mass spec for peptides and proteins, particularly in oxidative stress detection on antibodies using Orbitrap technology.

Later, he served as an MS Project Leader at A&M Stabtest, focusing on protein characterization and pharmaceutical byproduct analysis, all with high-res mass spec.

Davor expanded his skills at Waters, initially as an MS Sales Specialist for Germany West and later returned to Waters as an Application Specialist in the German Customer Success Team.

In between, he also gained valuable experience at Shimadzu Germany as a Field Application Specialist, specializing in tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry.

Davor's career spans academia and industry, making him an invaluable asset in high-resolution mass spectrometry.
