Waters Corporation: Benefits of Adopting Routine Mass detection in Traditional LC-UV Workflows for the Analysis of Synthetic Oligonucleotides

Oligonucleotides continue to gain in popularity for a wide range of applications, from gene-based therapeutics to targeted crop protection.

Robust analytical tools and solutions are required to speed up development to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Sometimes traditional chromatographic LC-UV generated data is simply not enough, and orthogonal detection techniques like LC-MS provide scientists with greater confidence in getting the right result first time.

Join us for this demonstration of a typical oligonucleotide impurities workflow using the ACQUITY Premier system with the ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector.

Key learning objectives:
  • LCMS System overview and key hardware features
  • Practical tips and maintenance of the ACQUITY QDa detector
  • Impurities workflow overview, from sample setup, processing and reporting data in compliant Empower CDS software
  • Benefits of mass data for peak tracking and identification

Who should attend?

  • Scientists in pharmaceutical, chemical, clinical, contract research organizations (CRO), cosmetics and agrochemical industries, universities, and governmental laboratories
  • Chromatographers wanting to transition to LC-MS from traditional LC-UV workflows
  • Anyone with an interest in mass spectrometry who wants to learn more
  • If you have any questions or would like to learn more please get in touch.
