Join Jennifer Knister, Product Specialist MCC Instruments at Tosoh Bioscience, as she explains how multi-column chromatography (MCC) can be used to intensify Protein A chromatography in a continuous mode, increasing productivity threefold or more. Many of the benefits of MCC (reduction of materials, decreased suite time, and higher resin utilization) have been identified and presented in recent Tosoh Tuesday webinars. Jennifer will now provide a detailed analysis that will be helpful for organizations considering whether to invest time and money in transitioning to MCC and debating what MCC format is most advantageous for them. BioSolve modeling software was applied to generate a detailed comparison of the processing times, materials costs, and non-material costs for purification platforms at different titers, with both prepacked and self-packed columns.
