The efficacy and clinical utility of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) rely on the specific, sensitive, and reproducible measurement of analytes. Liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS) has emerged as an attractive alternative to classical immunoassays. Currently, hundreds of therapeutic drugs are analyzed daily in the clinical setting using this technique, highlighting the need for automated solutions with higher throughput and better result reproducibility and sample traceability.

In this webinar, Dr. Mosé Barbaro, a biologist at the Pharmacotoxicology Laboratory of the Civil Hospital of Brescia, Italy, will explain the relevance of TDM in the medical practice, the process for monitoring therapeutic drugs through LC-MS and the advantages of automating this process. At the end of the webinar Dr. Frank Kühlwein, Head of International Sales at Chromsystems, and Dr. Gabriela Boza-Moran, Scientific Content Manager at Hamilton Robotics, will present the range of commercial solutions that Chromsystems and Hamilton Robotics can provide to customer working in TDM.
